I-95 COLLAPSE INFORMATION CENTER

As you are likely aware, on June 11th, a vehicle crashed and caught fire at the Cottman Avenue exit of Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia, causing the Northbound lanes of the highway to collapse, and severely damaging the Southbound lanes. Due to these events, portions of I-95 surrounding the collapse will be closed to vehicular traffic for the foreseeable future.
I am fully committed to working with local, state and federal authorities to ensure that federal funds flow as quickly as possible to ensure repairs happen in a timely fashion. I am also committed to ensuring you and all other affected residents in the City of Philadelphia and the surrounding region have the most up to date information, so that we can all minimize the inconvenience of this situation by being prepared with alternative travel options and other updates.
This information center includes links below to various local, state and federal resources, providing updates on road closures, traffic detours, as well as repairs to the affect portions of I-95. This page will be continually updated until repairs to I-95 are complete.
