Boyle Statement on House Impeachment Resolution

Washington, DC – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-13) today released the following statement after voting to table Congressman Al Green's resolution calling for the impeachment of President Trump:

"President Donald Trump's actions have raised very serious questions about his fitness to serve in office which I continue to speak out against. However, at this time, I believe we must focus on protecting the integrity of Special Counsel Robert Muller's ongoing, independent federal investigation and then evaluate its results before beginning impeachment proceedings."
