BOYLE STATEMENT ON RETIREMENT OF REP JOHN YARMUTH

October 12, 2021

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Vice-Chair of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement on the retirement of Budget Chair John Yarmuth (KY-03):

"In his 15 years in Congress, John Yarmuth has honorably and ably served the people of Kentucky and the United States. John has spent his career fighting tirelessly for legislation to improve the lives of those he swore an oath to represent. I will miss his sage leadership and guidance on the House Budget Committee. I consider John one of my closest friends in Congress so I will greatly miss serving with this kind and decent public servant. But I know we still have a lot of work left to do together for the American people over these next 15 months."
