BOYLE STATEMENT ON SEN MANCHIN COMMENTS ON FOX NEWS

PHILADELPHIA – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) released the statement below following Sen. Joe Manchin's comments on Fox News Sunday morning where Senator Manchin declared that he no longer supports the Build Back Better Act:

"More than 81 million people voted for President Joe Biden's agenda. Much of the President's agenda is contained in the Build Back Better Act. It would impact nearly every family by delivering historic investments including up to four weeks of paid family leave, ensuring that no family pays more than 7 % of their income on childcare, and historic reductions in child poverty. The House did our work, and now it's time for the Senate to do theirs. I urge Senator Manchin to reconsider his position."
