BOYLE STATEMENT ON SPEAKER MCCARTHY’S ENDORSEMENT OF HOUSE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS

 WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA02) issued the following statement following House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s formal endorsement of the impeachment process into President Biden:

“MAGA Republicans have controlled the House for nine months now and have done nothing to lower the cost of living or improve the lives of American families. They’re apparently too busy threatening a government shutdown and plotting a baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden.”

“House Republicans have uncovered no evidence of wrongdoing by the President – but the truth doesn’t matter to them. This partisan impeachment scheme is nothing more than a desperate attempt by Speaker McCarthy to appease the most extreme MAGA Republicans in his caucus.”
