BOYLE STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF NEGEV SUMMIT

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) released the following statement supporting the historic Negev Summit and condemning the recent rise in terrorist activity in Israel:

"Truly one of the most positive and inspiring developments to take place in recent years is the Abraham Accords. Building upon this, I applaud the historic steps taken this week at the Negev Summit. I am particularly optimistic about the joint pledge by Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates to work together with the United States and Israel to strengthen security and economic cooperation in the region moving forward.

"But there are those who want to stop this historic progress. I stand with the Jewish community following yesterday's deadly attack in Bnei Brak and pray for the families of the victims. In the wake of the third such act of terror against Israeli citizens in just 11 days, and a troubling rise in antisemitism globally, we must reaffirm our support for Israel."
