CONGRESSMAN BOYLE STATEMENT ON THE WARRANT APPLICATIONS BY THE ICC

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) released the statement below following the International Criminal Court application for arrest warrants for several elected leaders of Israel's government:

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the request by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the issuance of arrest warrants for the democratically elected leaders of Israel. It is absurd to equate Israel’s government to a terrorist organization whose own stated claim is the complete destruction of Israel, and which promises more acts of terrorism in the future. There is no moral equivalency between the State of Israel and Hamas. The actions taken by the ICC undermine its legitimacy and set a dangerous precedent moving forward.”
