Congressman Boyle Urges EPA To Do More To Protect Americans From PFAS Chemicals

February 14, 2019
Press Release

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) released the following statement in response to the EPA unveiling its Comprehensive Nationwide PFAS Action Plan:

“While I appreciate its attention to this issue, I continue to be frustrated by the EPA’s lack of urgency in addressing the nationwide PFAS contamination epidemic. Every American deserves to trust the safety of their drinking water. I won’t stop fighting until that’s a reality. As the EPA drags its feet, I will proceed with reintroducing my legislation to require the agency to promulgate a strong, enforceable federal drinking water standard.”
