PENNSYLVANIA CONGRESSMAN CALLS ON TRUMP TO NOT VISIT STATE

May 12, 2020
Press Release

PHILADELPHIA – Congressman Brendan Boyle (PA-02), released the following statement following the President’s announcement that he will be visiting Pennsylvania this week:

“President Trump’s decision to make a thinly veiled campaign visit to Pennsylvania adds yet one more chaotic chapter to his complete failure of leadership during this pandemic response. With recent reports of several White House staffers testing positive for COVID-19, the President and his staff should be quaranting and self-distancing—not traveling to a November swing state to gas up his flaccid poll numbers.”

“More Americans have died from COVID-19 than Germany, Britain, France, Spain, Russia, and Italy - COMBINED! So here’s my direct message to the President: Don’t come to our state. Go back to the White House and start doing your job.”
