WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-13), Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, introduced the Iran Responsible Reporting Act to punish the widespread corruption within Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In particular, the bill would amend existing law to require reporting on efforts by other countries to sanction Iran for human rights and ballistic missile violations. It would also authorize a summit among major trading partners of Iran to address the issue of IRGC front companies.

Britain's departure from the European Union could unravel the Belfast Agreement, a US congressional committee has been warned.

Speaking at a special hearing of the Helsinki Commission – a US government agency which promotes human rights – Brian Gormally of the Belfast-based Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ) said, while it was unlikely that any one particular effect of Britain's exit would destroy the peace settlement, "the cumulative impact could begin to unravel it".

In a sign of the administration's unusually high rate of turnover, the pro-Iraq war hardliner will become Mr. Trump's third National Security Adviser.

Washington (CNN) -- Former Vice President Joe Biden was back on Capitol Hill meeting with Democrats on Wednesday ahead of the midterm elections, attempting to bridge a divide in his party between progressives and blue-collar voters.

Biden, repeating an argument he's been making of late, said there should be "no reason for any conflict" between the two wings of the party. "There's no distinction in the Democratic Party between our social agenda and our agenda in terms of the economy," he told reporters.

There, the congressman's mother worked as a crossing guard shepherding school children across bustling North 5th Street, the neighborhood's shop-lined commercial spine. WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-13) led bipartisan letters to the leadership of the House Appropriations Committee advocating for funding and regulatory action to support communities that are dealing with contaminated drinking water containing perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) including perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS). These compounds have been found by a growing volume of peer-reviewed studies to be associated with serious health risks in humans, including certain types of cancers and impaired immune system performance.
