Boyle (PA-02) today introduced legislation to require that all newly sworn-in U.S. citizens be uniformly provided voter registration forms at naturalization ceremonies. Boyle's "Citizenship Empowerment Act" (H.R. 3770) would require officials to provide voter registration forms in the citizenship packets provided to all newly sworn-in U.S. citizens, and allow election officials to set up informational tables outside naturalization ceremonies. The reintroduction of this legislation comes in the wake of President Trump's recent racist comments.

The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday overwhelmingly passed a resolution stating that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's forthcoming report on Russian election meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election should be made public.
The resolution passed the House 420-0. Four Republican lawmakers voted "present" on the measure — a way to avoid a "yes" or "no" vote. Seven lawmakers didn't cast votes. All 18 members of Pennsylvania's U.S. House delegation voted in favor of the measure, according to the House roll call.
The House of Representatives on Friday passed a key priority of the new Democratic majority: A sweeping legislative proposal that Democrats call HR 1 that seeks to enact wide-ranging ethics reform, expand voting rights and mandate the disclosure of presidential tax returns.
The vote was 234 to 193 and the measure passed along party lines.
