Donald Trump is replacing national security adviser HR McMaster with the hawkish former Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton in the latest administration shake-up.
In a sign of the administration's unusually high rate of turnover, the pro-Iraq war hardliner will become Mr. Trump's third National Security Adviser.

Congressional Democrats on Thursday were quick to condemn President Trump's decision to name former United States Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton as his next national security adviser.
Trump tweeted early Thursday evening that Bolton, the hawkish former Bush administration official, will take over for H.R. McMaster beginning April 9.
From day one, President Trump has undermined him on Twitter, criticized him publicly, and prevented him from having a seat at the table with foreign leaders. When the news broke of his firing, I wasn't surprised. But, I am deeply disturbed.

House lawmakers on Wednesday passed legislation aimed at deepening cooperation on cybersecurity between the United States and Ukraine.
The bill would encourage the State Department to take a number of steps to help Ukraine improve the cybersecurity of its government and critical services.
The bill passed overwhelmingly in a 404-3 vote Wednesday evening.
The legislation is sponsored by Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-Pa.) and has attracted a slate of bipartisan co-sponsors.
