WASHINGTON, DC - Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.4373, the Fiscal Year 2022 State, Foreign Operations Appropriations Act. This legislation was adopted and included an amendment offered by Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) that expresses the importance for bilateral and international efforts to promote peace in the North of Ireland by way of the International Fund for Ireland.

Boyle (PA-02) is proud to announce that his legislation, the Protect Drinking Water from PFAS Act of 2021, was included in a package of bills that successfully passed the House of Representatives today. The package, titled the PFAS Action Act of 2021 (H.R. 2467), is comprehensive legislation to regulate PFAS chemicals, clean up contamination, and protect public health. PFAS chemicals are an urgent public health threat.
