PHILADELPHIA, PA – Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) co-introduced the Transform, Heal, and Renew by Investing in a Vibrant Economy (THRIVE) agenda—a bold economic renewal resolution. He joins Senators Chuck Schumer, Ed Markey, Cory Booker, and Elizabeth Warren and Representatives Deb Haaland, Debbie Dingell, Donald McEachin, Sheila Jackson Lee, Raul Grijalva, Rosa DeLauro, Barbara Lee, Ilhan Omar, and Ro Khanna in introducing the resolution.

Tartaglione (D-Philadelphia), Democratic Chair of the Labor & Industry Committee in the Pennsylvania State Senate, sent a letter to U.S. House Leadership urging the inclusion of language that supports the nonprofit sector in the next coronavirus relief package.



WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) announced that his legislation—the Innovative Energy Manufacturing Act (H.R. 5165)—was included in the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis' comprehensive congressional climate action framework. H.R. 5165 seeks to create clean energy jobs and invest in the future of American manufacturing in the effort to solve the climate crisis.

PHILADELPHIA – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) applauds the contract award to the Philly Shipyard for the construction of up to five National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV) from TOTE Services, LLC (TOTE), an industry leader in ship management, marine operations and vessel services. This contract award results in 1,200 good paying jobs.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) issued the following statement immediately after the House of Representatives passage this afternoon of the CARES ACT in response to the Coronavirus pandemic:
"This is the largest stimulus bill in American history. And yet, it is still not enough to meet the enormous demands we are facing. There are many positives things in this bill. There are also things that I do not support and should have never been included.

Philadelphia, PA – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) and Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05), along with State Senators Vincent Hughes and Tim Kearney, successfully implemented statewide regulatory changes to allow over 130 small craft distilleries in Pennsylvania to produce scarce medical supplies, like hand sanitizers, in response to COVID-19.
