The newest SEPTA station on its Regional Rail network is now open.
Local dignitaries marked the opening of the new 9th Street rail station on Monday morning with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and spoke on the combined efforts of the borough, the Lansdale Parking Authority, and Stoltz Real Estate Partners that made the station a reality.

The House on Wednesday overwhelmingly adopted a crucial bipartisan budget accord that in one relatively tight 144-page bill stands to end five years of bitter clashes between Republicans and the Obama administration over fiscal policy, allowing Mr. Boehner to fulfill his metaphorical pledge.
