Boyle (PA-02) and Congressman John Rutherford (FL-04), bipartisan co-chairs of the Congressional Lung Cancer Caucus, introduced legislation to designate November as Lung Cancer Awareness Month. While Lung Cancer Awareness Month has traditionally taken place in November, this legislation in Congress would formally recognize its observance during that month.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) secured $49 million in Fiscal Year 2021 to reduce the sexual assault kit backlog through the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative. Congressman Boyle's letter asking for full funding was signed by 47 Members of Congress. He has previously led this effort to increase funding in Congress.

Boyle (PA-02), co-chair of the Congressional Lung Cancer Caucus, successfully secured $20 million for Lung Cancer Research in Fiscal Year 2021 by leading a letter with 41 Members of Congress to prioritize this funding. This is an increase of $14 million from the previous year.

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) today proudly accepted the prestigious John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Medal for 2020 from the national chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH). The medal is the highest honor that the Hibernians bestow. Congressman Boyle is the first Pennsylvania-based member of the U.S. House of Representatives to receive the medal.
